Hi, everybody, and thanks again for your prayers. They mean so much to me. You all are great.

Please pray for Jake. He's been experiencing joint pain, on and off, since this summer. But this past weekend he had a round of pain in his left knee, with significant swelling, that lasted 3 days. We're heading to the pediatric rheumatologist (thank God there's one here in Lexington) on Tuesday. They're suspecting Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, but the specialist will, hopefully, be able to diagnose it with more certainty. Certainly, if this is what it is, we'll be faced with some challenges, but I'm not going to put the cart before the horse. Jake's 11.

I'm obviously not writing a whole lot with all of this on my mind, so I'm taking today off and straightening up the laundry room and boy does it need it!

Thanks again, my friends!

It's so hard to watch our kids suffer. I'll pray for Jake and your family. May the Lord grant healing, and may these trials draw all of you deeper into the cross.

Love, Jeanne
